Pjanic has emerged as a target for Real Madrid ahead of next season, according to Don Balon, amid doubts over Luka Modric and Toni Kroos’ futures.
Perez was in Turin for Los Blancos’ Champions League quarter-final clash against Juventus.
Don Balon say the Bernabeu bigwig used the trip to hold talks with his Italian counterparts.
And it is claimed he has edged closer to completing a swoop for Pjanic.
Perez reportedly left the Italian city delighted with his evening’s work.
Bosnia and Herzegovina international Pjanic established himself as one of Serie A’s top midfielders after joining Roma from Lyon in 2011.
The 27-year-old joined Juventus in 2016 and has chipped in with 25 assists and 14 goals in 83 appearances.
Pjanic, under contract at the Allianz Stadium until 2021, was suspended for last night’s clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace – including a stunning overhead kick – while Marcelo put some gloss on the scoreline with a late strike.
Zinedine Zidane said: “It’s not easy to put three goals past Juve on their own field.
“We put in a great performance, but Juve also did very well, put us under pressure and had the chances to score goals, but we were more clinical.”
